Early 2025, director and producer. Won Best Music Video at St Eriks Unga Filmfestival 2025
Tequila can best be described as a tragic comedy about school and the anxeity to perform well. With this film I wanted to put an entertaining spin on anxeity, making light of a very common feeling amongst teens through a comedic and ironic lens, using tequila as a narrative tool to convey the slow descent into madness and paranoia -- a sense of doing whatever it takes -- that the main character, Tekla, expriences throughout the film. I was very inspired by scenes in movies like Whiplash -- using high action, fast cuts and quick camera movements to visualise all the pressure Tekla is experiencing, all in beat to the music.
It was an absolute honor and pleasure to direct and produce this film, even through the sea of problems and difficulties we had to navigate. But, of course, without the leading talent, their enthusiasm, and their incredible on-screen performances -- this short would've never even left my notes app, let alone become the movie it did, going on to win prices.
Early/mid 2025, director and producer. Debut documentary.
This documentary, on the surface, follows along local bands as they play, rehearse, and record, paired with interviews from experts and alike. But on a deeper level, play it LOUD not only highlights local bands, but also showcases and communicates how integral art, music, and creativity are to the human experience. That it doesn't matter if you're a professional or not -- you should just create. If not for anyone else, atleast for yourself.
In an effort to make the film as multi-faceted as possible, play it LOUD includes a handful bands from the greater Stockholm region and even a group from NYC. Original music from all bands can be heard throughout the documentary. Even though many of my interviews fell through due to sickness and I had to handle standardised testing at the same time as producing this film -- I think I managed to fulfill my goal, and I hope I've inspired atleast someone to play it LOUD.
2018 - now, various channels.
Since 9 years old I've in total had 12 YouTube channels, some more long lived than others. I've produced everything from let's play content in the very early years, to filmmaking content, train compliations, spec ads, mincraft tutorials and questionable vlogs. Currently I'm focusing more on making somewhat less questionable vlogs and fictional stories, and on documentaries -- curating kind of like a digital diary of sorts.
2020 - now
I've always loved making films as part of school assignments -- many of my bigger productions stem from an assignment in class -- but still devoting my heart and soul into these projects, even when they're less "serious" or "important." For example, for multiple months I produced, edited, and acted DoP for a 12 minute long movie for spanish class. Important to note may be that I don't speak spanish nor have spanish at school -- which made post production much more difficult. Unfortunately I can't share most of these films due to privacy reasons. Pictured is a part of the editing timeline for the aforementioned movie for spanish class, early january 2025.
