Before visiting China, I'd always associated chinese cities with impressive skylines, busy streets and high tech everywhere. But, as we travelled through small towns, villages, and cities on a 3 week stay to the PRC, I learnt so much more of what China actually is - the cities and the people and the industries and areas that actually make the impressive, futuristic tier 1 cities that we've all heard of even possible in the first place.
